LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION
May 18, 2012
To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing to provide my recommendation of David Webster. I have known David for three years as a teacher at Yampah Mountain High School. David has been a standout student in my mathematics classes. He excels at problem solving and shows great potential to pursue a career with a mathematical focus.
Not only does David shine academically, he is also a talented musician. He has been a part of the Yampah Mountain High School bands as a drummer and a guitarist. The bands with which he performs have won multiple awards, including Audience Favorite at the 2012 Battle of the Bands hosted by JAS Aspen. Along with his many talents, David is also a deeply caring young man who often puts others’ needs ahead of his own.
I give David high recommendations. Please contact me with any questions.
Sincerely,
Mindi Harman

CODE OF ETHICS
I've been raised pretty well when it comes to right from wrong. I know the difference between the two and follow my own code of ethics. I believe solving any issue with violence is wrong unless there is absolutely no other way of solving it. All violence does is put you deeper and deeper in the metaphoric hole of revenge and grudge. It's always better to solve the situation with strong communication and forgiveness because in the end, in any situation, there's always someone who's causing the situation. That's where forgiveness plays a big factor because, as humans, we all make mistakes and some are worste than others. Going through all of that and coming out of it together, gives you the gift of a stronger friendship and a wiser more mature thought towards life.
Respect is a big deal in my life because i believe it's the most important action a human can give to another human. I still believe in the old saying, "Treat others the way you would like to be treated." It's dorky but it's true. I sure wouldn't want to be pushed around and treated like I'm a worthless piece of trash so why should I do that to someone else? In my mind, it is common curtisy to know that and follow by that statement.
